Catherine Tate

CatherineCatherine Jane Ford, born 5 December 1969 is an English comedian as well as an actress and writer. Her work in The Catherine Tate Show, the BBC sketch comedy show has been recognized with numerous awards. Tate was also nominated for seven BAFTAs as well as an International Emmy Award. Tate was Donna Noble in Doctor Who's Christmas special in 2006. Tate then reprised her role as the Tenth Doctor's frequent companion for the fourth series. [2] Following the popularity of The Catherine Tate Show, Tate was a part of Joanie Taylor ("Nan") in the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015) as well as in the movie The Nan Movie (2022). In the year 2011, Tate started playing the role of Nellie Bertram in the U.S. version of The Office which was regular until the show was cancelled. [3] She played the role of Miss Sarah Postern (2013-2014), and Magica de Spell (2017-2021) in the BBC One sitcom Big School.
