Cristela Alonzo is an American stand-up comic as well as a producer, writer and actress. Most famously, she is known for the TV series Cristela which began to air in the year 2014. She was the first Latina to ever create, produce and write her own series for a network. She started her career in Texas and later moved to Los Angeles, where she pursued her career. She's been in the roles of guest stars in television shows like Sons of Anarchy' and General Hospital. She also wrote for the TV series Mind of Mencia. Also, she was the host of and featured on "The The View". In addition, she was director on a couple of movies like The Angry Birds Movie.
